Baker’s Drive-Thru near Avista Senior Living Magnolia

If you’re in the Home Gardens vicinity, do not miss Baker’s Drive-Thru, a hot spot in the area that has been serving up homemade American and Mexican staples for over 65 years.

Mr. Baker was a visionary who had a concept to offer great food with great value to the residents. As an innovator in creating America’s First Twin Kitchen, Mr. Baker was the first to provide both American and Mexican entrees. The concept quickly caught on with the rest of the world. Neal Baker was an icon in the community and had a hand in founding almost every fast-food chain that started. Think Taco Bell, Del Taco, McDonald’s, and more.

Baker’s Drive-thru uses only the freshest ingredients prepared each morning to be sure your meal is always fantastic. Don’t miss out on homemade salsa, guacamole, marinades, and more. Food is always fresh, delicious & made to order.

Neal T. Baker was not an ordinary businessman; he was also a philanthropist. Although he was reserved and shied away from publicity, he believed in serving his community. He gave generously to almost every nonprofit organization around.

A longtime supporter of Cal State San Bernardino athletics, Baker, funded a significant academic scholarship. He donated a parcel of land, more than two acres, with the specific instructions to use for the community. In May 2013, the Baker Family Learning Center and fire station were built in Muscoy, where he lived as a boy. The community center is home to a public library and pre-school.

So come on down to Baker’s Drive-Thru, only a ten-minute drive from Avista Senior Living Magnolia. Grab your friends and family and taste the history of Home Gardens.
