I recently visited a family member at this senior care facility and had a very positive experience. The facility was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly, respectful, and attentive, which made the visit feel comfortable and reassuring. It’s clear they take pride in keeping the space pleasant and treating residents and visitors with kindness. I truly appreciated the care and professionalism shown during my visit and would recommend this facility to others looking for a supportive and well-run senior care environment.

We moved our father to Avista a month ago, and, wow, this place is wonderful on every front. Sherri, the Executive Director, is an excellent leader and ensures their residents get the best care. And I can’t say enough about the care team at Avista. They are lovely, kind and excellent at their jobs. The medical oversight that Dawn provides is excellent. You would think this would be the standard for how our seniors are treated but not all assisted living facilities are equal. Our dad was in another facility right down the street (Hearthstone), and it was awful and, oddly enough, more expensive. If you’re looking for a place where they care about your loved ones 24/7, this is the place you are looking for. Avista is the gold standard for senior care. We cannot recommend enough!

I recently was able to visit my father-in-law at Avista Senior Living and I am impressed with every aspect of their care for their seniors. I was his primary caretaker for three years prior to moving him to Avista Ellensburg, and it is such a relief to see him so well cared for. In my professional career, I’ve seen hundreds of senior “care” facilities, many were quite sad, and this is by far the best assisted living community I’ve seen. He is happy, he and his room are very clean, the care team is 2nd to none, and I would not place him anywhere else in Ellensburg. Avista is by far the best place around.

Avista is a wonderful assisted living community, all residents seem so happy and cared for. I also appreciate that they are focused on quality of care and not sales gimmicks. Definitely the best assisted living community in Ellensburg. I heard about this home through a friend who recommended it after their father was so well cared for here.

If anyone in town is looking for an Assisted Living community for a loved one, our family has discovered a hidden gem that I would like to recommend. We recently moved my dad into Avista Senior Living and we could not be more impressed. The executive director is wonderful, the caregivers are kind and compassionate (and fun 😊), and the medical staff is organized and highly competent. My dad was not thriving at another local facility, but we were so nervous about moving him because change is hard when you’re 85! We decided to take the plunge and we are so happy we did! He loves his new place and it’s wonderful to see him clean, cared for, and happy every time we visit. (Oddly, we are pay far less for a much higher quality of care.) I wish we had known about Avista before we moved him originally, but glad that we eventually found it.

Our family has had three members live at Avista Senior Living Ellensburg. We have been extremely pleased with the care they have received and the wonderful attitude of all the staff members. Avista Senior Living Ellensburg has very caring and skilled caregiving staff. The management team are directly involved and know the facility and industry. Other staff — including kitchen and cleaning staff–also are interested and involved with residents. They are an amazing team. All staff members work together to care for residents. They never fail to greet residents, take an actual interest in their lives, and consistently monitor residents to identify changes in their health that may need to be addressed. They make an effort to get to know family members and keep family informed as needed. The facility has a wonderful, very experienced and lively activities director as well. It is a beautiful facility, but most important is the amazing team that support the residents!

A festive-looking dining room and genuinely friendly staff welcome you, and the entire inside appears recently decorated and in natural shades. The one-room apts have at least 1 large window, space for basic amount of furniture, built-in closet, and a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, storage space, but no cooking facilities. 3 copious meals provided daily plus 1 time per week free laundry service and room cleaning. The bathroom has walk-in showers and helpful bars along walls. The staff is not only caring but extremely helpful. Free transportation to appointments can be arranged and physical therapy is available in a neighboring bldg. I’ve found the place wonderfully relaxing and comfortable.

My brother recently became a resident at Avista at a time that we were unavailable to visit prior to his admission. We spent four days with my brother, and I was very impressed with the community, the organization, the responsiveness of the staff, and especially their fondness and care for my brother. I highly recommend Avista to any families that may need assisted-living.
