From the moment we entered the facility, we knew this was a place for our mom. The staff were friendly and the room was "homey", though small, but just right for her. We appreciated that the nurse manager advocated for her to be there and worked with us to develop a care plan for her complex needs. Once a resident, the staff treated her like a friend. They not only cared for her but also sat and visited, understanding the physical limitations she had. Any concerns we had were addressed immediately. The activities available are interactive and meant for residents to meet each other. The activities director strives to get to know each resident personally and to get them involved. We also appreciated the small facility all on one floor. From maintenance staff to executive director, they could all provide answers or direct us to the appropriate place. Safety is also another priority, which was very much appreciated. We could not ask for a better place for our mom to have spent her final days and we know she appreciated the community.
