The staff at Avista have been exceptionally helpful and understanding. My mom and my step dad were residents at Avista. My step dad suffered from dementia. He was approved for ALTCS, my mom was private pay. My step dad took a turn for the worst and passed away leaving my mom with a very limited income. She was not going to be able to stay at Avista due to funds but Ami and her staff came through for us and as a result, my mom is able to stay. She needs people around her to keep her in the present and without the help of the staff that would not be possible. They did the right thing in a tough situation and I am very grateful for them!
