I am the power of attorney/healthcare agent for a friend of mine who resides at Avista North Mountain. I have been overwhelmed by how caring the staff is towards not only its residents but also friends and family members of the residents. Dementia is a terrible and progressive disease and requires constant evaluation and modification, the staff at Avista has been so wonder in working with my friends changing needs. One of the things I am most impressed with is the staff always addresses him by his name and welcomes him back when he returns from an outing. Compassion and caring exemplifies Avista.
