Marsha’s elder law practice includes helping seniors and their families plan for eligibility for Medicaid benefits and applying for those benefits when appropriate; representing both Petitioners and proposed Wards in guardianship and conservatorship proceedings; estate planning, including the preparation of Powers of Attorney and other Advance Directives; estate administration; and advocating for her clients to assure that they receive the Medicare, health insurance and long-term care coverage to which they are entitled.
Marsha’s representation of military veterans who seek assistance with pension benefits, and with disability compensation for conditions that present themselves as they get older, is enhanced by her accreditation by the Veterans Administration, which she received in 2010, and her 2018 admission to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans’ Claims. Marsha frequently volunteers at legal clinics sponsored by the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
A native of Washingtonville, New York, Marsha graduated summa cum laude from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, and earned her law degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Law. She began her legal career in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before relocating to Phoenix.
